Guckian Quite numerous: Leitrim. Ir. Mag Uiginn, possibly from Uiging, a Viking. This name occurs mainly in Ulster as MacGuigan and MacGuckin, q.v. MIF.
Mac Guaicín Guckian: annamh: Liatroim. Féach Mag Uiginn.
MacGookin fairly numerous: Antrim etc. Ir. Mac Guaicín for Mag Eochaidhín according to Woulfe, but MacLysaght regards it as variant of Mac Guigan, q.v.
MacGucken fairly rare: Tyrone-Derry etc. Ir. Mag Uiginn. See MacGuigan, but also compare Mac Guckin.
MacGuckin Derry-Tyrone-Antrim etc. Ir. Mag Eocháin (from first name Eocha). Evident confusion with Mac Gucken. See also Mac Guigan.
