Brady Very numerous: Dublin, Belfast, Fermanagh, Meath, Cavan, Connacht. Ir. Mac Brádaigh. A sept of Breifne, some of whose colourful careers are described by MacLysaght. Possibly from Ir. bradach which meant spirited but nowadays thieving! IF.
