E.) from Summerhill, on the road to Skryne ; containing 435 inhabitants, of which number, 54 are in the hamlet ; and comprising 1932 statute acres, as applotted under the tithe act. It is a rectory, in the diocese of Meath, entirely impropriate in Mrs. Reynell ; the clerical duties are discharged by the rector of Knockmark : the tithes amount to £107. In the R. C. divisions it forms part of the union or district of Kilmore. |
