KILMODUMOGUE, a parish, in the barony of FASSADINING, county of KILKENNY, and province of LEINSTER, 5- miles (S. by w.) from Castlecorner ; containing 985 inhabitants. It is a rectory and vicarage, in the diocese of Ossory, forming part of the union of Mothell ; the tithes amount to £157. 14. In the R. C. divisions it is part of the union or district of Muckalee. About 30 children are educated in a private school.
