Teague Quite numerous: Tyrone etc. Ir. Ó Taidhg, from first name Tadhg, a poet. Generally not a sept but an eponymous native of Ulster, sometimes with racist connotation.
Tighe numerous: Connacht, Cavan-Monaghan etc. Ir. Ó Taidhg (first name Tadhg, poet). A number of septs existed: Down, Wicklow, Roscommon, Clare. There is confusion with Mac Taidhg, a very common name known in Ulster as Teague. SI &MIF.
