de Híde Hyde: líonmhar: Corcaigh thoir, Ard Mhacha-an Dún. Sasanaigh a shocraigh i gCill Chainnigh sa 14 céad agus i gCorcaigh sa 16 céad. Uathu-san a shíolraigh Dubhglas de Híde (1862-1949), comh-bhunaitheoir Chonradh na Gaeilge (1893) agus chéad Uachtarán na h-Éireann (1938-1945). "An Craoibhín Aoibhinn" a ainm cleite. Ní aon áireamh ar an dtionchur a imir sé ar chultúr agus ar chúrsaí na h-Éireann.
