DCLA databases

The records hosted here are part of a series of fifteen databases and subsites created by Dublin City Library and Archive (DCLA) between 2006 and 2018. They were hosted at databases.dublincity.ie until March 2024, when they were removed because of problems with the EU’s Web accessibility Directive. The backgound is here. Those fifteen will eventually be redeveloped and more fully integrated into the DCLA site. In the interim, a subset is presented here as a temporary stopgap.

Only seven of the databases are reproduced. They are not full facsimiles of the original subsites. In particular, many of the record-images that accompanied the original databases are not included.
